Volunteering at the sale is fun and a great way to meet new people! We have many time slots open throughout the sale week.

Positions at the sale include rack set up, assiting with check in, organizing items and assisting shoppers during the sale. If you have a special need please email us so we can direct you to the best shift. Thank you!

Alternate Volunteer Options

Are you interested in an early shopping pass or a higher consignment percent but aren't available during the sale week? We understand that some of you may not be able to volunteer your time at the sale but would still like the benefits of working a 4-hour shift. There are a limited number of positions available that do not require you to be at the sale. They are available on a first come basis, considering everyone’s individual situation and the needs of the sale. We will do our best to accommodate everyone.

Put it on the Honey Do List

65% of your sales & a 3pm presale pass

You can recruit your husband or a friend to work a shift for you! You will receive full credit for his/her 4 hours. (Sign up under your own name and let us know of your substitution).

Flyer/Postcard Distribution

65% of your sales & a 3pm presale pass

We will give you a list of places or specific area and you must bring flyers to at least 15 places that allow you to place a flyer. Flyers are distributed to daycare centers, preschools, children’s gyms, community and private bulletin boards and other locations throughout the area.

Committee members

80% of your sales & a 1pm presale pass

If you are interested in a committee position and have volunteered for at least two sales please email us for more information. Committee positions require a 18 hour commitment. Contact us early if you are interested. amanda@thekidsclothesline.com. Thanks!

More Volunteer Options

If you do not have 4 hours to give at the sale but would like to shop the Thursday night private presale, you can earn a presale pass by helping with the following: (NOTE: these will not qualify consignors for the 5% bonus to their commission)

Place TKC Magnets on your Vehicle = 4pm presale pass

Place 2 magnets on your vehicle 3-4 weeks before the sale until the last day of the sale. Please only volunteer for this position if you are frequently driving your vehicle to and from kids activities or places where they will be seen. Magnets must be returned April 16th or 17th. Consignors Only!

Sign Display = 4pm presale pass

Do you live on or have access to a property located on a busy street? If you would be willing to post a sign visible to passersby, you can earn an early shopping pass. Signs must be posted 3-4 weeks before the sale until the last day of the sale. Not all locations will qualify, please contact us with your available location(s). Signs must be returned April 16th or 17th.
